Week of 2/15:

It was a big day for Predators...
Barrington:  We didn't have a lot of kids, but a good showing.  Winners were Nathan Boucher, Noah Drabek, Max Hill, Zac Keller, Nick Koch, Jonathan Makey, Niall Shoenfelder, Pat Schoenfelder, and Dominick Tovar.
Congratulations to Desi Giamarusti - she won the Wisconsin USGWA Girls Wrestling State Championships today in Kenosha.
We had a fantastic showing at Bantam State in Chicago Heights - place winners were:  Nolan Flores (8th), TJ Conner (7th), Brandon Gonka and Nain Vazquez (6th), and Kurtis Smith (5th).

Also - Congratulations to former Predators Phillip Cappitelli (Lakes Sr) and Jimmy Prince (GLN So) on making the IHSA AA state tournament.  Good Luck!

Normal practice schedule this week.

For those who have questions about the post season tournaments.... 
Regionals:  Open and encouraged to all wrestlers.  This is the last IKWF tournament for Bantams.
Sectionals:  For Midgets, Novice, and Seniors who place top 4 at Regionals.
IKWF State:  Novice and Seniors who place top 3 at Sectionals.

Midget parents:  Midget State will be on 3/19-21.  The details have been released - look for an info letter this week.

We'll have the scale at practice the remainder of practices for Dundee signups and those 9-up who are watching their weight for Regionals (Bantams are blocked weight).

Upcoming Tournaments:
2/21:  Pete Rodriguez Final Challenge - Dundee Crown HS.  Register by Thursday.
2/28:  North Chicago Regionals - Main South HS, Park Ridge.
3/6:  North Chicago Sectionals - Bartlett HS.
